Step 1 - Blog integration
Integrating your blog into Digital Memo is simple:
- Install the free trial
- Click Start/All Programs/Digital Memo/Administration Panel
From here you can:
- Add your blog url
- Add your blog username and password (if any)
- Set the interval that Digital Memo checks for new posts

As shown in the diagram above, drag and drop your RSS feed into the Administration panel.

If you are using an internal blog that is password protected, Digital Memo allows the option of adding your username and password.
Setting the refresh interval
You can set how often the Digital Memo reader checks for new blog posts. The default is every minute, however you may change this to your preference.
Note: For the Digital Memo Reader to find the RSS feed you may have to quit and restart the Reader once. To do so, right-click on the Digital Memo icon in the system tray and select 'Exit DigitalMemo'. Then restart the Reader.
Step 2 - Deploying on client PC's
Once you have successfully added your blog to the admin panel, you are ready to distribute the Digital Memo reader to those PC's you wish to notify of your latest blog posts. You can follow the above procedure by manually installing or install via an MSI file with your licensed version.
The Digital Memo reader can be installed on multiple client PC's by using the MSI installer. A custom installer is provided to you on purchasing and you can deploy the installer in one of two ways depending on whether your blog is password protected or not. Step 3 - Using the reader
The Digital Memo reader pops up with each new blog post. The user can then click on the post to go to your blog online.
They can also navigate through the posts received to date and access the reader anytime from the system tray. View Screenshots.
Users cannot add other blog RSS feeds. Only the administrator can control the blog feeds distributed.
Step 4 - Purchasing the application
Your Digital Memo trial is fully functional. A warning message will appear in the Digital Memo reader with each blog post notification and random blog posts will link to popuload.com
Purchasing and entering your license key into the admin panel will link your posts to the correct articles online, remove the warning message and unlock the software:
