Installing the licensed version of Digital Memo
Upon purchasing Digital Memo, a license key is provided to you which will remove the evaluation text and the link to popuload.com. Depending on your blog configuration, you can be in one of two situations:

A) Your blog is not password protected
A) Your blog is not password protected and access is available to any visitor or any PC within your network. In this case, you can provide us with the name of the licensee and the URL to the blog and we will generate an MSI package that will allow you to easily install Digital Memo on any number of client PCs.

B) Your blog is password protected
B) Your blog is password protected and the user needs to enter a user name and password to access the blog. In this case, Digital Memo needs to be aware of the login to the blog in order to function properly. The login is stored in an encrypted way in the registry on each client PC. When installing on a limited number of PCs, the login can be entered on each PC.
When the number of PCs is too large to manually enter the login, a new MSI package needs to be created which is a little bit more complex than for the first case. First we send you a license key that does not contain the login to the blog. Using the Administration tool, you enter the URL and login to the blog and Save. This will create an encrypted key under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PopuloadSoftware\DigitalMemo
\Popuload\Settings\Admin
You can either send us the “Admin” registry key, the blog URL and we will create an MSI package for you OR you can create your own MSI package for deployment. The MSI package should configure the same registry keys on all client PCs.
